glnc the CLI is private by design. It has no account system, does not phone home, and does not track usage — there is no telemetry binary, and nothing for you to opt out of on the command line. This marketing website (glnc.dev) does use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics from Vercel; see "The website" below for what's collected and how to opt out.
What the CLI talks to
Every network call the CLI makes is user-initiated, and the addresses or transaction hashes you query are part of those requests. The destinations are:
- Public RPC endpoints for each supported chain (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, zkSync, Linea, Solana, Bitcoin).
- CoinGecko, for token prices.
- Etherscan V2, when you supply an optional API key for extended history.
- Reservoir, when you supply an optional API key for NFT data.
tokens.uniswap.org, for the public token list.
These providers see the request just like any other client of theirs would. glnc does not relay your queries through a server we operate; there is no server.
The website
glnc.dev is hosted on Vercel. Vercel records standard edge access logs (IP address, user-agent, page, timestamp) for operational purposes such as DDoS mitigation, debugging, and hosting analytics. Those logs are processed by Vercel as our hosting provider under their terms.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights— both privacy-focused, first-party products from our hosting provider. They record aggregate pageview counts and Core Web Vitals performance metrics (LCP, INP, CLS) with anonymous, hashed visitor IDs. No cookies are set, no cross-site identifiers are used, and no third-party trackers are loaded. Vercel discards the raw IP after deriving the hash. The dashboard we see contains aggregate visit counts, referrers, and per-page performance — not individual user trails.
To opt out, enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, use a content blocker (uBlock Origin and most ad blockers block Vercel Analytics by default), or use a privacy browser (Brave, Firefox with strict ETP) — all of which will cause our analytics to record nothing for your visit. We honor whatever signal your client sends.
What we don't do
No accounts. No email collection. No advertising. No third-party trackers, pixels, or remarketing tags. We don't sell data — there's nothing to sell — and we don't build profiles of visitors or CLI users.
Your rights
Under the CCPA, GDPR, and similar state privacy laws, you can email rahimiarya13@gmail.com to ask what information we hold about you or to request deletion. Because we don't retain anything beyond what Vercel's edge logs capture, deletion requests on our side are usually moot — for the edge logs themselves, the request needs to go to Vercel directly.
